Foundation for Change

The HITT Contracting Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2021 to unify HITT's philanthropic efforts and maximize our giving impact. The Foundation's mission is to improve the lives of our team members, partners, and subcontractors through investments in technology, education, relationships, and community. The Foundation invests in the next generation of builders and innovative construction practices through scholarships and endowments, supporting institutions that focus on improving team members' collective wellbeing, and research and development. Inspired by the legacy of Chairman Emeritus Russell Hitt who was passionate about giving both philanthropically and through volunteerism, the Foundation allows HITT to further achieve our purpose.

Be the

Good

At HITT, Be the Good Week is celebrated each April when teams nationwide dedicate their time to give back to the local communities where we live, play, and work. From packing hygiene kits to volunteering at animal shelters and hosting community clean-ups, these actions truly make a difference, reflecting our belief that individual actions can have great impacts.

In 2023, HITT teams held 18 Be the Good Week events across the country, serving local organizations, neighborhoods,

and the planet.
